Default 4.8L Turbo 76GTS: MSD 2-Step Video

Well after some advice, got the new MSD installed tonight in about 1 hour. Here's a 3500 RPM stall. First is 40% throttle, then a couple 100% one's. Looks to be making around 3-4 extra PSI at the same RPM. This is to much for the street as you can tell the 305's wont hold, but I'm hoping @ the track the hoosier's will.

I have been waiting to see some videos of this truck with the new turbo. Sounds real good. I bet that thing is going to be a lot of fun. Makes me wish Joe Gibbs trucks came with a turbo instead of a charger.

Don't show this to your converter guy... It's not great on the stator to stand on the brake and just dump the throttle. Just FYI...

sounds mean as hell. although there would be no benefit to doing this on the street because of traction itd be great lining up next to someone and hitting that. do you have a brake in the trans? obv wasnt being used in this vid if you do just cant remember if you have one along with the mvb

I do have a T-Brake Shino, should have it up in running along with the 2-step soon. Shawn this is the MSD 8733..

Built408 wouldn't it be just as hard on the converter using a trans-brake and stalling the converter up at the line?
