On the first run it downshifted to 2nd (was in third), and I got it shifting at about 6500-6600, it only drops to 5400 when it shifts with the TCI 4000. On the 2nd pull it downshifted from 4th to 3rd at about 70ish.

Soon, its getting a set of ported 317's milled .045". Right now its running stock iron heads that I just blended the bowls on. It's only 10:1 comp, should be close to 11:1 then.

Hell ya man should roll even better then! Been looking at some 408's myself lately but with the $ factor might have to go with a 6.0!

Well every .006" is supposed to be 1cc so that should put them at about 66.5cc's, now they are 73cc's and using a .051" gasket. So with the 317's at 66.5cc and a .040" gasket should help a bit. LS6 heads would be ideal, but he's gettin these for $100, so he could pass that kind of deal up.
