No set up. The tank probably weighs 2-3 times what the tractor does and probably has at least twice the power. Armor weighs a ton and you have to have alot of power to mve it.

http://www.challenger-ag.com/agco/Ch...ors/MT900B.htm

As a cat dealer we carry quite a few Challengers. The MT875 is a nasty towing rid, can self load 2 18 yard pans in the florida muck. (yes this will do 25 mph too)

I'd gladly hook up a MT975 to that tank and see what happens.

I'd also hook up to anything in the dirt with one of my 740 Ejectors. 80K lbs and low gear with 3 axle diff locks. Lets hook up.

No it's not. It spins at first and the tank pulls the tractor backward then the tractor starts spinning again.

Even a tracked tractor will do 25mph. The tank just weighs more, and probably has more power. Still a rediculous hookup, very impressive on both sides of the chain.

This was at the local fair, he was just the first puller to test out the sled. Never went above idle the whole way down the track:

I guess ours are just too old pieces of crap, I think ours are in the 200hp range. I dont think I would want to haul as in a tractor that damn big

Was that tank an M-1? Those things have gas turbine's in them pushing out like 1800 hp no? It should be states that this is from what I recall from watching modern marvels, not that I actually work on them. I think it's been covered best by a few guys...more weight + more power will win...duh. And those tracks on the tank aren't gonna hurt traction either.
