identical setups dont always work out the same. I understand what your saying but there could of been things like the tune, the weather, the track and etc not allowing the full benefit of the intake. the truck intake it restrictive and on his RCSB he will notice a difference. Its a proven intake over and over again.

his truck is an ecsb, with the same tuner...actually its probably the same exact tune. when i say exact i mean EXAXT carbon copy of my trucks setup. heads, gaskets, injectors, cam, pushrods, blah blah....it was suposed to have the same converter but frank screwed him over at fuddle.

Technically the combo hasnt changed aside from the converter... just because its a RCSB as opposed to the ECSB doesnt mean anything aside from weight factor. My motor will still be setup the same as his and what not.

So is your converter built for the wieght of your EC? Now your putting it in a SC?

actually if i had a single cab i would have a bigger cam and different head gaskets. but if the money is already spent no point in changing things now. the gains wouldnt be worth it. im thinking your guaranteed an 11 second pass if that yank converter performs with a scsb.

i dont think the ecsb vs scsb weight will make much difference in the converter.

a tune setup for texas wont perform nearly the same as a tune for the mountains for PA. also the tracks down in TX arent like the tracks up here. the tracks here are much slower. his setup to see 11s will take much more then what ppl in tx need to run. Higher elevation always plays a factor in times

look at it like this bill....there are two cars local with same setup as yours and arent breaking 11s!!!!!!!!!! what makes you think a truck with same parts going to run faster?

but if the LS6 intake makes no difference in TX, i'll put money down saying that it wont make a difference in PA. Go with the proven tested setup.
