Ya I changed the cam and lost the cats. Picked up 35rwhp and gained my torque back along with picking 30rwtq across the board after 3500rpm. Was good for 4/10's and +7mph in the 1/8th. My cam wasn't right for my heads and exhaust as we both knew.

I didn't talk to the ACR Viper owner after the run since I got back in line for another pass. He got kicked out cause he ran faster than a 7.49. I don't think he would have broke a 7.49 and would have let up if I wasn't so close on his tail. I'm sure he was a little surprised a truck was right on him. I know the slip guy was as he was questioning if I was running the on bottle cause I didn't have a jacket. He didn't believe me when I said I wasn't running any power adders.

Sounds like a lot better cam, I've never had those wide cams run hard NA, at least in a truck. These western tracks totally suck. 7.35 is ~11.50 in the 1/8 mile.

Ya I'm not a fan of the wider LSA anymore. I'll take some lope to run better. The tighter 112 definitely helped. Wish we had better weather so I could make that 11 pass. Don't think I'm there in 3000' +DA

I'm not going off a 1/8-1/4 converter. I'm going off weather, my powerband, my previous 1/8 to 1/4 run comparisons which I've run my truck 50+ times. I gained 2+mph in my other 2 runs. We'll see soon if I can break into 11's until then it's a 12's truck.

Thanks

Hardly, beat him by .05 on reaction time and .02 on 60'.
I can't go off of 1/8 to 1/4 converters either as they don't work well with the trucks for some reason. Also, Irwindale has always been .2 tenths faster than Fontana.

Your 7.68 @ 88.67 should be in the high 11's for sure at Fontana. I ran a very similar time with spray their and got a 11.7.

Here is that slip for comparison.
