are you sure you put in a cam and just did not unplug a vacuum line on the intake? I am throwing the BS flag....

I tinkered with a few things a got it running better. Comparing the logs to an old 50 shot, its damn close to the same acceleration.

Went to cut off the cat and replace with some straight pipe today, coincidentally the cat started coming apart as I parked the truck to cut it off. Muffler started rattling and white powder poured out of the cat when it came off.

What cam kit did you use?
How long was the swap, was it similar to the V8s ?

What size outlets and how big is it? How much you want? Im planning on runnin 3" coming of the y pipe and straight back, planning on having plenty of exhaust volume running through it. Im looking to get a straight thru muffler, Ive heard some 4.3s with a Hooker Max flow and they sound good. Id like Magnaflow too, but dont wanna spend that much.
