Awesome car! How long are those gears? It sounded like he ended at the start of 3rd...

Not sure on the gear specs but these COPOs come with powerglides .

not sure on hp, but they are full track setup(cage, susp., seats, fiberglass body parts, slicks, fuel cell) would be a lot cooler if you could take it down the street, legally.

online calculator comes up w/ 950-1000hp to run 8.8 142 at 3500lbs

Ive heard the 900hp mark thrown around quite a bit and I think those track times prove to be right.

Forgot to mention, the article said this was AS SHIPPED from GM. No tweaking done.
