Could you just drop your idle a little more? 680 seems a tad high, maybe more like 600-625? i don't know if that would beat on the cam much more than 680. Plus drop a degree or two of timing, i don't think it would get too rich at idle if you did that. play with it and see what it does. i had my stock cam idling at 550 and 11 degrees of timing, and it loped decent for stock
