KB Racing Turbo T6 BW S480 boost vids
Ok, so some people have asked how the Borg Warner S480 with a T6, 83mm turbine wheel, 1.10 a/r hot side builds boost so I made a couple boosting vids. This first vid is just rolling into it at about 10mph with about 3/4 throttle in first gear.
This video is of a 5-6 psi 4x4 boosted launch going from 0 about 100mph. WG spring is about a 9-10psi but with it only being a 38mm WG and being it's in the single digits for temp out side, I get a little boost creep to about 12 psi, which is fine with me!
Just so you know, I haven't optimized the tuning so there is still a bit left in this thing. This is the same tune I left the track with in CA in October with running the BW S475. So with the cold air and the bigger turbo, it a tad lean (11.8) and I'm not real aggressive on the timing right now. Just a typical street tune for me to run 91 and -20* WWF for meth injection.

It's pretty quite. I LOVE the sound of it, but it has a horrible drone (at least to me) right at highway speed (72-80). It's a 5dB increase from 2000 to 2500 and the quiets back down at 3k. It's got 4'' off the turbo down to about the transfer case then splits to 2, 3" duals with a pair of Magnaflow off set mufflers and exits at 45* out the pass rear after the tire.
