Actually the slowest spool time comes from an idle with just stomping the gas cuz the impeller is not at speed. From a roll is about as fast of spool as you can get out of a turbo cuz it's already pretty much at speed and just need to spin up a little more and it's making boost.

Man that wheel slip at that speed make me glad I have awd!! That's nuts.
Most of the time if Need around people I just half throttle it and it's at full boost almost instant. At the light if I get hit with a surprise run it will take about half the intersection to get full boost. Not bad but it seems like forever if it's a fast car in the other lane. Most people around here hear the whistle and they let out and slow down.
