Default My 4x4 Maggied 5.3 vs 2011 Mustang GT 5.0
Raced a new 5.0 Mustang last night. The wind was blowing hard towards us. I launched in 4wd and couldn't shift back out so I know that cost me. The track is at 3700ft elevation. I ran 13.5 @ 99.71 and he ran 13.46 @ 106. I beat him in the 1/8th by .2 of a second.

It was my first time at the track so I know my times can improve a lot. With my new engine, races like this should be no contest. Forgive the shaky camera work, it was my 11yo son's first time videoing.

The Wind sounds Horrible. Good run though considering weather conditions.

Good run man!

Your kid did a good job videoing, tell him atta boy for first time.

Wind sounded nasty. If it EVER quits raining here i will get some track time in.

Next time u do it.. Start off with 4 x4 then 2 wd and you will be way faster... Thank you for showing that mustang what's up lol
