It is a tech toy but it is just the first of a camera phone that is truly a camera. Yes we have 5-10 mega pixel phone cameras but they still aren't with any zoom and they don't have that good of sensors. What this allows you to do is have a phone with a zoom lens that will fit in your pocket.

Like someone said the "photographer" will be able to get amazing angles they never got without lots of grief.

Being the fist out I am sure it will have a long way to go to be a true kick *** camera but it is an amazing start for both phone geeks, camera geeks, and with time photographers.

to be fair it's got a "full frame" sensor which I wish I had (Cheapest Nikon FF is ~$2300)

that remote "live" view is pretty cool too!
