RIP G80 fixed the hole in the cover, scrapped the metal out, changed the fluid and kept driving it hahahaha

Gotta order a new ring for it then I can put the truetrac in and hopefully that holds for a while..

That's so awesome! Looks like a lot of fun. You were killing that corner! I'm glad someone got some video of it. Makes a hell of a gif.!

Ouch.

Yeah the G80's dont like burn outs or side loads like that.

Doesn't the Colorado have a special diff with an oddball gear size?

yeah, just like everything on this damn truck its the ONLY thing it comes on, its an AAM 800 8in or some ****, truetrac is finally making a diff for them so thats what I got for it, just gotta order a ring since I broke some of the teeth, hope it holds up better

Is it leaf sprung? Narrow an 8.625 and re drill the 6 lug pattern

yup, with caltracs

Id like to do a 4link or something later.. will probably do an 8.8 under it since they are so cheap and seem to hold up well. Id rather go 5lug because the wheel selection for 6lugs sucks a fatty, but waiting for someone to come up with a plausible way to change the front to 5lug and get away from the dumb way these brakes mount so I could run some better brakes

That would be an excellent choice.

Get one from a truck or explorer with 31 spline.

Lol at the front brakes. The Colorado makes you wonder what the hell gm was thinking after having the s10 out for so long. Truck looks good going sideways and this is one of my favorite Colorados on here.
