That circle d 278mm 3-32k converter drive exacrly that same as the tt3k .. That would be a big waste of 400 bucks and time to do that swap.. Doubt it makes any difference..
I really think 3.90 or 4.10 gear would give it a good kick in the pants and still be fine to dd and cruise down the highway
Wasn't your truck lowered on smaller wheels and tires the last time you ran ? Now its back stock hieght or close on bigger wheels and tires? I could be wrong but I think I remember seeing that somewhere

i ran on a 28.5 tall drag radial when i went 13,8 on my old setup
I have a set of 373s sitting in my parts pile
I guess i will try and track down a looser 3200-3400 stall
I am just pissed i had a small cam combo that was on kill.
I am had to change it now i am back to square 1 starting over

he is running a Yank 3000 which is TIGHT and will not flash like that 3200 did. besides he doesnt want a sloppy DD and the 3400+ converter or even a 9.5" 3200 will be a crappy DD as far as temps and the slip around town. if he got a 10.5" 3200 then yeah but who wants to sink 600-800 into a converter on a DD/budget build? yeah gears work but look at M3rst who is STILL on 3:42s.....13.5s at 105 right on street tires or was it slicks?
if it was me i would just run to SCR where the track is always prepped better and everyone seems to run better there before i bash the cam swap...

3.73s and a 3600 stall will do wonders. It should be faster after a few tweaks and a bigger stall/shorter gears.
Don't worry about it man. You had a perfect combo before and now your setup has changed so it seems "slower" lol
