A stock 5.3 4x4 will out run a raptor in the 1/4, the raptor has 37s? That is approximatly 2.5 inches more ground clerance over a truck with 31.7(stock 265-75r16).
A raptor isn't a far cry from a z71 in a good way. It is a differant animal due to the extream cost and compleat and total lack of value. The raptor is a slightly wider then stock truck with small factory lift and a body kit.
They look good but they are like a tuner with a hood scoop. Looks cool in a video game but nothing to look at twice on the street.

This truck was built at a local shop called Geiser Bros. A good friend of mine worked there, should give that raptor a good run for its money. P.S. i got a ride in this thing right befor it was shipped to Leonard and its wicked fast.

Unless you sat and drove a raptor you can't compare to a 4x4 chevy truck with skid plates. The options and electronic features are crazy. And the suspension is
Somewhat long travel. Let me see a torsion bar front end ride that smooth. It's ignorant to even compare them. Ford
Once again caught us with our
Pants down stock truck wise lol

the problem only occured on raptors with aftermarket softer leaf springs in the rear which caused the bump stop to bottom out on the frame and it would bend. its not a common issue. but the same company that makes those leaf springs also now makes braces and different bump stops to compensate for this. it makes it a softer ride when going 90+mph over the rough ground there is 2 videos of the guys who had the frame bend slightly and one guy hit a cattle guard at 92mph the other guy got 3-4ft of air on a jump and came down hard.
And there are a ton of those trucks with bent frames. There was a huge thread about it on the Raptor forum. Some are stock, some have Deavers.
