...theres no way the bugatti could pull away from a newer r1 like that, the bugatti had to have some mph before the race started. The real thing that gets me is that the bugatti didn't jump out on the initial hit when the bike was around 6,000 rpms ...but, against a turbo busa it wouldn't even be a race. Like someone said 800rwhp supra that ways several hundred pounds less can't even come close to that. I'm still waiting for a Koenigsegg CCX vs. bugatti veyron, CCX FTW!

I dunno man! The second time he pulled away seemed pretty convincing that it could out pull the R1. Maybe it didn't have a little MPH but it would of been nice to see the Carerra GT, Bugatti and R1 all lined up. Not that it mattered in this movie but motorcycles have a horrible drag coef at high speeds while the GT and Veyron were built for ridiculous speed. That was a pretty tight video though. A turbo Busa would definetly make things much more interesting!

"First pass, the car was already going by at a high speed and the biker saw him and accelerated to catch up, I'm guessing to get some video of the car while he was out riding that day.
Between 0:50 and 0:55, there are three scenes spliced together - watch the trees. Makes it appear that the car took off, but that's where he's trying to fool you.
When the bike's following the 2 cars and the Veyron takes off, the car gets to nail it a full 7 seconds before the bike can get straight and fully hit the throttle, so of course it pulls off. (Veyron hits it at 1:50, bike at 1:57).
The Veyron is a damn nice car, but the video is misleading."
All I am saying there is no way that car can pull a newer R1 that hard at that low of an mph race because that wasn't even close.
also heres probably the best vid to put in perspection of how fast bikes really are

-a 883rwhp viper (probably just as fast if not faster as a veyron from 70- 200mph) vs. some busa's, yeah the r1 is a little slower but not by much maybe 140mph in 1/4 mile vs 145 on a busa.

here's a one of a CBR954RR.......from experience the front end does tend to come up rather easy

I used to have a busa, my buddy has a 954RR with some mods( exhaust,Powercommander) From a dead stop his 954 was pretty even with my busa till about 120 then I started pulling him more and more as speeds increased. Also yes the 954's do have a tendency to be light in the front... Also not nearly as stable at high speeds as my busa was, but the 954 handled the twisties much better.
