Care to enlighten me on your turbo knowledge via PM? That way I don't hijack this thread. Trying to gather up some info for future reference :D

Wow, good info Mark!!
I'm impressed by it alot, not saying I would ever own one because I think there are other cars out there that I'd rather have for 70K but Nissan sure has done a great job with this thing. Credit needs to be give here regardless of where your brand loyalty lies. Werd, give some credit. Why can't everyone appreciate a company bringing affordable performance to the market? You can't find better bang for the buck than this! By the way it performs it should cost 400,000 bucks! Just as some folks dislike the NNBS GMC's (i've been told) this car will grow on some as well when it comes to looks! Just not red...LOL! I have a feeling the GTR or V-Spec edition could break that Green Hell record. Funny no one wants to chime in on handling when this is a "sports car" and not a "drag car". This car can out run and out handle a 911 Turbo for 70,000 bucks, folks that wanna call it a POS should step right up and accept their "L" |
LOL, dude that's so funny, my sentiments exactly. And when I tried standing up for the GTR on our sister site you wouldn't believe the hard core GM supporters that started coming out of the woodwork. Some people just plain called the tests lies... :jest:
No explanation, no facts behind their statements, they just said all the numbers were lies and the green hell is a stupid testing ground that doesn't account for much real world testing. I can guarantee you once the ZR1 puts up some great numbers you'll see these same guys praising the numbers and saying the ring is a great testing ground. I think this car is gonna push every company that produces sports cars to get up off their asses and do themselves one better. The numbers and test that this thing is passing with flying colors are truly amazing for any car of any price range. Hell it's one of the closest things to the 1.4 million dollar Bugatti that there is and it's 20% cheaper....:jest: it is flat out the best bang for the buck. PS you should troll over to ls1tech and read some of the threads...you'll get a warm welcome from them.....:jest: |

And at least this way other people can read and chime in with what they would know...that or start a new thread. I'm here to learn and helps sooo... :thumb: |
Every since I had a Maxima I've been impressed with the car for the money they(Nissan) put out. This is no exception... but I wouldn't buy one.
As for a Z06 killer... I'd really like to see one guy do all the tests in both cars back to back. Not this Edmunds says this Motor Trend says this shit. |
