A couple weeks ago. I drove my truck to Home Depot. Went inside, grabbed my stuff and came back out. Truck wouldn't start. I squirted a little bit of eather it fired right up. I've had no other problems till yesterday. I stopped at a stop sign and my truck died. I can't get it to start.. Anyone know how to help??

When it was running how did it run under a load ? When is the last time you changed the fuel filter? Does it even try to fire or just cranks?

fuel filter or water in the fuel is my guess...

be a cheap and easy thing to try.

It only cranks over.. I changed the filter in mid summer..I havnt pulled anything with it in a while.. But it has been running fine

I checked filter, put back on. Open bleeder and primed it.. I primed and cranked numerous times and have nothing

I'm gonna go with cam position sensor. Sounds completely identical to the problem my dad was having with his power stroke

I have more info on this.. I've been letting my neighbor use the truck to go back and forth to work.. I found out that they have been running the full tank low, and then throw 10 to 15 dollars of fuel in when it gets pretty much dry.. A ? Is, if I change the fuel filter. Will it or does it reset that sensor
