2001 rcsb silverado Sunset orange
I bought me a rcsb finally and cant wait to mod it, ive been lurking around PT since ive been looking to buy a rcsb. I was looking into buying a black rcsb and do black on black but theres a ton out there and during my search i found a 2001 sunset orange rcsb silverado, i bought it cause of how rare this color option is, i google and google and search and search put there wasnt alot of info on them, also the ones i would find were extended cabs. So i figured oneday someone like me that is interested in buying a 2001 rcsb in this color has some pics too look at. I will update this thread as time goes on with appearance mods that i do so that if theres ever a fellow member who is looking to compare there SOM color truck to mine.

I have a lq9, on the engine stand waiting to go in, i was going to put my torquer v3 in it but i had to keep it real with myself on the fact that im not going to race it on daily bases and its my daily driver, so im just going to install the lq9 with 243 heads and a 03 ls6 cam and full bolt ons, hopefully tuned by dirty30 with a beefed up 4l80e and 3600 stall, if and when i do race the truck itll be digs, or light to light or 1/8th which im shooting for mid 8s, which ill be more than happy with, or low 13s 1/4th mile

I also got the truck weighed in at a CATS scale, and with everything on it that came with it from the factory including spare tire and 1/4th of gas it weighed in at exactly 4300lbs with out driver, so thats a decent weight for a truck.
