Smile '97 383 stroker

I'm a newbie building my first engine. I chose an old '97 4dr Tahoe with a spun main bearing I'm turning into a 383 stroker. Machine work being done here locally at the Block Shop, SCAT 383 balanced rotating assembly from Skip White Performance 3831p-2230: Probe forged pistons, Hbeam rods, King bearings, Hasting rings, Prostreet balancer, balanced SFI flexplate, Slightly larger Howards cam.
I'm on here looking for any advise. I'm having the machine shop port and polish my heads as well. But I am keeping stock heads, manifold etc. Do I need different valve springs? push rods?
