I have someone that will be doing interior, lighting, and putting me a few speakers with a hidden cd player.( I do not want to cut the dash @ all! I personally dont like it because it doesnt go with the the body structure & design of the inside. To me its like watching a black & white show where only one person in it has any color.....get what I am saying here? The motor isnt a big deal I have plenty of experience with replacing parts. My dad (who has a towing/repo mechanics shop)was a single father & my mother wasnt around. I grew up around his friends who are like family who also have their owns shops such as Junk Yards,Tools,Paint, & Nitrous....you name it I can get a damn good deal. I am also a 91B Mechanic for the military....but some of those vehicles are a little different than civilian vehicles.

What trucks do you work on for the military? Im a WG-10 5803 for the army currently overseas right now.

I kinda miss my 84 I had that was a Mississippi truck,ZERO rust and still very clean,it ran and had a 305 in it,stole it for 200 bucks, and turn around and sold it up here for a grand.

I got buddies from here to florida and they are always on the look out for 70's and 80's GM trucks for me,running or not.

I like the 6.0L better, mild cam, good heads ported and polished with free flowing intake and exhaust, bump up the injectors and fuel pump and toss on a twin screw puffer with a small shot of gas to cool the air charge and you have one hell of a motor for that truck of yours. From the picks its got plenty of meat in the back, just keep the pressures down so they dont bulge out and have a nice flat footprint and make sure you got a locker and some weight in the back and poof 12s all day long, maybe even 11s if it can hook.
