Cool Crank Pulley 08 5.3

I'm trying to get darn crank pulley off my '08 Sierra with no avail. Uggh. I have a 3 Jaw puller tried from inside the pulley several times and as it gets tight the puller flies off. I tried from outside clamped on outer rim of pulley and i ripped that part of the lip off of the edge of thepulley. Any suggestions?? I'm using a KD brand 3jaw....theres no bolt holes to use the 3 bolt type.

That helps a lot. That Chrysler puller explains a lot!!! My GM universal pulley has long jaws pertruding out past the middle pull bolt. The long jaws hit the bolt causing it to push against the jaws and hence popping off. My local store here doesnt know or have that style puller. Im going to next town up in rent that Chrysler puller. Wish i wud've asked before i bought and used that puller n scarred it all up. Cant return it with obvious used signs ...Oh well i have one now somebody else may need lol

I'd recommend getting a real tune (efilive or HP tuners) and get rid of those programmers
