Default new guy from cali

whats up everyone!! im from cali where the weather kicks *** and the ladies are hott (LOL)!
Any who, I got an '01 yukon. Looking to swap out the 5.3 with an LS3. Problem is I have searched hi and low and almost every forum and no luck seeing if anyone has attempted this swap in a NBS. I know its popular in hot rods. If you can help me out and lead me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it!
