and yeah i guess i will go for a tune.. i'll give some people some calls this week and see whats up! and i think i'm gonna get some cutouts too! woo hoo!

now time to choose a tune.. this could get hard. I'm so clueless when it comes to tuning and whos good or the best. looks like i got some reading to do.

you are right but if it takes you 1 r 2 years to put everthing on it then you need something in the tune.their is alot you can do to the little 4.8. send me a pm on what you have on the truck.

I just have intake, exhaust, headers, descreened maf, and Wheatley dual tune in an 04 ext cab 4.8 with crappy 3.42s and an open diff running mid 14s. Nothing else. They respond well to mods.

yeah.. i have my intake, headers, tbs, descreened maf and i'll get the wheatley tune. but i got 4.56s! haha but also 285/75/16 mudders. maybe i'll be in the 14s??

when i had just my exhaust, headers, and intake and everything else was stock my best was 16.9

With just aftermarket muffler and true flow intake, all stock mine went 16.3.

what the!! hmm that doesnt sound right for mine then! i'll see how it does after the tune! and of course after i put some new plugs on there.
