Hey man sorry for the late reply,ive been getting quotes here and there on the engine and the installation, by any chance do your or anybody have any idea how much i should spend on the two. The prices vary at around 1500 to 3500 and i just dont want to get ripped off

Engine wise I think you can find a decent 6L long block for around $1000-1200. Then again I haven't shopped for one in a while so not sure what they are selling for today. Installation, a good shop can have it done in a day and I would think cost around $500-$750. Then again I've never paid for it so I don't know, maybe people have crazy prices for engine swaps.
