Lower Arkansas that is. New to the forum but familiar with it. I drive an 03 Silverado LS rcsb with 4.8 auto. White exterior with the tan interior. Looking forward to modding it as soon as I get Christmas outta the way. As of now its got a set of 22" American Racing Trench wheels black in color with some drop shackles in the rear to set her level. Performance mods include, limited to, but not helping much are the Spectre CAI (which I'm highly impressed with as far as quality goes) and throttle body spacer, which I know is totally worthless but it was in my tool box so I said to hell with it and put it on

As soon as I can get the Christmas shopping out of the way I want to start modding the truck performance wise. The ebay OBX headers & Y pipe, cam, converter, UD pulley, p&p tb, and a good tune. Im leaning towards the TSP220 cam as it seems like a good choice for the lil 4.8 since it screams up top. Probably a 3400 stall converter, and pretty undecided on the tune so far. I know Im pretty much pissin in the wind with the 4.8 but an 80 mile roundtrip to work keeps me wanting to retain some kind of decent gas mileage. Later on I would definitely like to do a 6.0 swap. Maybe the coming summer if all goes well.

welcome sn0wba11! Glad to see you could work through the complicated sign up process! nothing wrong with that 4.8, give her all she's got! Plenty of respectable 4.8 trucks around here.

 

Thanks for helping me get though it dewmanshu! The 4.8 aint bad at all IMO. I can hold a light to dads 08 rcsb sierra and he has the 5.3 w/ the 799 heads on it, all stock of course but atleast he doesnt just eat me up!
