Howzit PT members, I'm from Iowa but currently based in Hawaii. I recently got back from Japan and as a present to myself I traded in my BMW and got myself a brand new truck.

I picked up a 2016 1500, WT package, Single Cab, 2WD, with a 5.3L

the only part I hate about my truck is the gap in the rear fender isn't covered at all, I saw RoughCountry sells a plastic cover, anybody have experience with those?

A look at my wife's Camaro and my Harley both current projects

I've never been much for show so the look of the truck isn't going to change much, I probably wont even lower it.
I would like to widen the rear wheel by banding the stock wheels (if anyone knows the widest rim size I could put on this let me know), stickier tires, de-badge the rear and side's, try and tint the front chrome grill, and then the usual CAI, exhuast, and tuner at least till I can find a more exact goal.

Any tips, suggestions, opinions would be great since I'm fairly new in the truck scene.

Nice truck I love the dashes and gauges on the new ones. With a white single cab like you you could make a killer sleeper!

Only real tip I have is dont buy a cheap tuner like a diablo or edge get someone who knows what they are doing and use EFI live or HP tuners or better yet dyno tune.

I know you said you aren't much for show but I would at least level the rear out.

It's a small change but makes them look way better to me, gets rid of a massive rake they have. A 2in drop shackle or removing the factory lift block are super easy to do.

If its got a factory block removing it will help with axle wrap as well!
