Nubey with a 400 super sport silverado
hey guys, I just bought a 2001 silverado SS 400 
. from what i hear these trucks are pretty rare. only paid 14.5 for it with just over 100k on it. its got the 400 v8, the original owner said he put a chip in it and a cool air intake system on it.
where can i go for more information on it?

I will be the first to let you know they do not have a 400 engine in them.. They have a 5.3 in them, the early 99-00 trucks had or you could still get the 350 in them. Just a mild appearance package, mostly sold in mexico.. Welcome to the site, but sorry to burst your bubble.. If you paid 14.5 for it just because they told you it has a 400 in it, I would take it back and tell them to give you about 7k back or drive the truck up there ***..

its got a 400 in it man, it says so on the side. plus my friends dad works at a ford dealership, he said he worked on one before and it was really fast.
They havn't made a 400 in many many years dude.. Like from 1970-1980.. It's a sticker/appearance package.. Sorry to pop your newb cherry
