One Owner 98
Just thought to introduce myself. first and foremost I am new to AZ. I relocated for a long awaited Govt . Job.
I have 98 Chevy Extended cab that I purchased brand new from Graff Chevrolet in Texas. It has been my baby. It has been a great truck and would like to start putting my ducks in a row to get it restored. Just a few things I would like to do to it is as follows:
Stroke the motor to the 383 HT specs
Custom Grind Cam with power throughout the RPM band
Headers
3/4 Lowering with 20" wheels (something oldschool looking with machined or silver finish)
LED lights front to back
Original Black paint with a piano finish
Upgraded suspension and disc brakes throughout.
PML Valve Covers/ Chevrolet orange painted motor
Posie track locking differential with 3.73 gears instead of the 3.42
The theme for my truck is sleeper. Something that the factory there in Arlington should have made but didn't .
It would be great if Truckin Magazine or one of the other publications could take it on as project for their magazines. Not much attention is given to those trucks without chopping them up.
If you all out there can point me in the right direction especially to some of the builders in the business here in AZ would greatly be appreciated.
