Default R/T Dakota owner in Florida

Hey all!

I'm Chuck, and I have a 1999 Dakota R/T club cab. I bought it with 46,000 miles last year and it had a Kenne Bell supercharger, Kenne Bell headers, and a few other minor goodies on it.

The supercharger and stock motor are long gone and I have a KRC 408 in there now. KRC estimated the motor at 465hp but I think its more like 400. I have a 408 on the way from Southeast Performance now that should offer quite a bit more power.

I've added Caltracs, a custom transmission, Hotchkis suspension, and some seriously nice custom door panels to handle some Canton speakers.

Other than the truck, I'm into scuba, guns, and food. Willing to make a decent offer on a good girl who is into all of the above.

So far, nothing. I haven't taken the truck to the track yet. I'm waiting on my newest motor to go in and then I'm going to start making news.

welcome to the site! seems you don't waste much time with something you're not happy with... let us know how the new motor works out.

Life is too short to waste time.. even stoplights bother me.

The KRC motor is for sale btw, complete with a PCM, if you know anyone interested. When I say complete I mean it, too. From the dipstick to the sensors and everything in between.

Howdy!

I have Sunshine Speedway about 5 minutes from my place, and since its 1/8th thats perfect for a truck. Everyone passes a truck given a long enough track, but in the eighth you can really give a good show.

After the latest round of mods I will definitely be going to BMP to see what it can do. I've never owned a vehicle with nitrous before so it should be an interesting day.

I'm looking forward to posting dyno sheets and times for everyone.
