Default 125 dry shot ..... 4.8L silvy

I have a 2011 rcsb 4.8L looking to run some nitrous til I can save for my turbo kit. I called cold fusion nitrous here by the house , and they told me they could run a dry setup for 125 shot from the airbox right behind the MAF sensor and that my truck would adjust as needed as the nitrous passed ... He also said that no changes would be necessary in my tune for that size shot, or any other adjustments, or a bottle heater. What do u guys think?

Hmm.. If I were you, I would do a wet shot and definatly get a tune. With that said you can use the 125 all day and be safe. Also, change out the plugs for some ngk br6ef.

You might get away with a 125 shot but a 100 shot IN FRONT( in front as in is going to get metered) of the MAF is doable with out any issues. Been done a million times on here. Wet shot is the way to go but 100 shot is fine IMO on a dry ****.

My tuner said 100 shot will be fine with no tune adjustment, so I need plugs with 100 dry shot? And when I spray, how will I be spraying, from 60 ft to the 1320 or what? Lol sorry I have never messed with this stuff ? Lol

The stock timing is kinda high IMO for a 100shot. Im running 21* and spraying a 100. Stock timing is around 25+*. May want to have him adjust it some so you get the most out of your shot. Yes, change the plugs.

from what I've heard, you spray from 3k RPM until it shifts (don't spray through the shift) then spray again after 3K RPM.

Wet kit, window switch, NGK plugs, tweak the tune, and a torch. Problem solved.
