ive got a 99 silverado z71 with true duals and CAI
if i were to run nitrous as of now (cuz it seems to spike my interest for more and quick horsepower) wat shot wood i run on my stock motor as shood i do it and will it be ok?

no more than a 100 shot on stock tune, i ran a 125 a few times on stock tune and hit knock.. get a tune and retard some timing and go to a 150 shot

so nitrous then go buy a programmer or go to a place where someone can tune for me with the bottle on?

go with nelson or wheatly or black bear all good tuners they are sponsors right over here>.... just tell them what mods you have and what shot your planning on running and they will fix you up

It's never the motor you have to really worry about spraying nitrous with shots 150 or less. Gm took care of that for us with a good stout engine design. As for the stock transmission holding up to weezing the juice..........................it do not.

As long as you dont spray through shifts or spray below 3000 rpms you should be fine for a long time.

Dyno or mail order tune and 100-150 shot and your on your way.

DO NOT RUN A HANDHELD PROGRAMMER!!! They are not for nitrous applications, get a proper tune. Also change the plugs to NGK TR6's.
