I checked into a big bottle here from a local gas supply place and they wanted $3.80 a pound for a 50# bottle. I though that was kind of high. She also told me that was for what they call "nitrace", with the sulfur added. She said she couldn't sell me medical nitrous with out a medical license or a prescription. Apparently some new law, cuz kids where getting it and filing balloons with it and getting high at party's.

When I had it in my 99 silvy I paid $6.00+ tax a lb here. Only one shop carries it and the ricers fill up like it was going out of style. I paid like $68 total.

Same here in MS. A buddy of mine has a fill station in his garage and fills mine for 3.00/lb but if I go to the Pawn Shop (owner is big into racing) it is 3.50/lb flat rate. If I am on the other side of town and go to the Ricer shop, it is 3.75/lb + tax so it ends up being 4.02/lb. It is also 4.00/lb at the track.

I have an idea! Crash one the punk kids parties, that have nitrous, and steal their bottle! Just be sure you can run fast and have the getaway car ready to roll!
