Compressed air..... A friend's Idea.
So a friend of mine was wondering if there would be any gain using compressed air being injecting into the intake before the MAF. I said. But he wanted me to ask. IF it even works its probably nothing compared to a NOS, super, or turbo setup. He's just wondering if it would give you any sort of gain at all.
His plan was mounting a small compressor in the bed and running a line up to the intake. How he would turn on/off the compressor or get the air to flow, i have no idea. I think its a whole lot of work for nothing. But who knows
Guess I could sit back, , and watch him try
thoughts?

A big electric compressor will put out 3cfm at 0psi, typical EDC is around 10cfm I think. There is no way it would be worth the trouble. To be useful, you would need an enormous tank and have to have an army of compressors to fill it.
