Default dry to wet conversion...

i am going to do this with my dry kit soon, and i am expecting to drop a few tenths at the track with the same/similar size jets.

i noticed on the dyno that my dry juice is flywheel rated, as i only picked up 75ish of the 100 dry i was spraying...

i am gonna convert to a regular intake jetted style wet kit, with a 100-125 shot...

am i crazy to think that i will gain a few tenths? it should be another 75 or so rwhp, with the 125 wet kit in there, shouldnt it?

Depending on what brand kit ya have, they have conversion kits out, thats what I am going to do with this dry kit I just picked up(HSW). All ya need is a fuel solenoid, a new jet, line.

i wasnt asking if it could be done, or how to do it, i was just asking if i was correct in assuming the conversion would result in a lower timeslip.... with the added horsepower rating the wet kits have over dry.

i do appreciate the compliments though

I don't see why (unless you are not getting enough fuel) a dry shot would be any less or more than a wey shot.

well, the dry is rated at the flywheel , whereas a wet is rwhp rated.... so i assumed if i went from 100 dry (about 75 rwhp) to a 125 wet, i should pick up a good bit at the track... shouldnt i ?

that was my initial question.

Why don't you just up the dry shot? The main benefit of using a wet setup is if the injectors will not support the target HP, other than that, HP = HP for the most part, regardless of if it's flywheel or rearwheel rated.
