Default ecsb bottle mounting

i want to mount my bottle under my back seat but i wont be able to put the seat down if i do, where are ya'll mounting your bottles? is there a reason for the brackets making the valve side of the bottle higher than the bottom of the bottle? i was thinking i can go get another short bracket, which would set the bottle completely horizontal, and it would fit under the back seat.

Mine is mounted under the rear bench, driver's side, nozzle forward. The bench closes fine, bottle is at standard tilt. You want the bottle nozzle up so the the pick-up tube inside the bottle is covered with gas and nozzle forward so that when you launch the gas goes back to the bottom of the bottle and not away from the pick up tube, understand?
I have a bracket from Nitrous Dave and it fits just fine, room to spare. DON"T forget your blowdown tube.

ok, that makes sense. i wanted to have the bottle sideways under the seat since i have people ride in the back seat pretty regularly and didnt want them kicking something loose. i have a blowdown tube but need to send it back to Nitro Daves for a 90* tube.

you dont have pics of your bottle installed do you?

I did, but I deleted them off PB, need to get into my hard drive at home and repost. Basically the bottle is mounted ~5" from the hump. Yeah, you need the 180* blow down tube, come straight up then U's down.

This is a 10lb. bottle, not sure if a 15 can squeeze in there or not, never compared size.
