[QUOTE=nonnieselman;4978813]we ran 250shot on a 325k mile bone stock 4.8 with a tune and fuel pump.. it lasted till the trans went out. well over 20 bottles. its a dog N/A on the nitrous tune tho.[/QUOTE
Man how fast did that thing go? Im just trying to get idea where truck going to sit with a basically lq9 with stock 799 heads and custom grind cams and 250 shot im hoping to make at least a low 11's pass.

on our silly 500' track it went 9.2s on motor and 7.0 on the 250 shot spraying it after 60'
so it went from a 16 sec pass to a 12 sec pass pretty much.
this was a bone stock 1999 with 3.42s and a 27" worn out DR.

My rclb mail order tuned 6.0, 2800 stall went 13.4 on a 100 shot out of the hole. Only made it to the track once with that set up and i think it had 13.2 in it. Useing that as a base line I would think low 11s are attainable but high 11s are more realistic. The 150 shot is good for almost 1.5 seconds and cam is another tenth or two.

Gotta think it was a worn out 4.8 haha..
stock 4L60E too. dunno how it made it over 300k miles..
but with the nitrous tune in it it was a dog.. it would have got 15s on the N/A tune.
the next owner tried a 275 shot, but the nozzle wouldnt flow that much so it didnt help.. motor is still goin too, been thru a couple rebuilt 60E's tho.

Large amount require great tune, good pump, the right plugs and a good running motor. We have had a customer run a 300 or 350 on a stock bottom end LS1 threw our plate. He started at a 100 and over years has worked his way up.
