Question How will this cam work with nitrous?

I originally got this cam because i was going boosted. But plans change, I was wondering how this cam will do with nitrous?

The specs> "cammotion 223/218 .576/.564 115+4"

Thanks

i would say it should work well, not sure about the reverse split and nitrous but if anything, heres a bump

Probably not the most ideal cam for the app., but whats the hardest part of increasing power with nitrous.... unscrewing the line and putting a larger jet in.

unless his injectors run out or if his MAF gets frozen.... speedy, you could always research a decent cam for nitrous and try to post up a "Want To Trade" thing in the classifieds.

Will this cam just not make much power with nitrous? I'm going to change cams anyway, just wonder way this cam is so bad with n2o.. Am i better off going with a forward split or duel pattern cam for nitrous?

forward split IMO. look at the thunderracing cheaTR cam. its a nitrous cam and is a 214/230
or this.... much more moderate
99-TR224/227-114 Thunder Racing Custom Split Pattern Camshaft for Nitrous/Supercharger applications- 224/227 .563/.569 114 LSA (This cam will check in the 226 range on the exhaust lobe.) 2200-6800 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. Automatic cars require computer tuning and it is recommend for optimum results on manual transmission cars. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended.

There's no reason why this cam wont make power with nitrous.

Brian @ HiTech Motorsports explains it best :

If you put a blower on a stock motor, it still makes more power, right? Even though you didn't increase the size of the exhaust lobe. How can you get more in if you didn't get more out? The answer is simple... since you had more cylinder pressure, the greater pressure difference across the exhaust port allowed more exhaust to flow through the port, even without more cam or port. To optimize this requires only a small change in the exhaust side of the motor to match the boost levels you are using. Since these engines are too heavily exhaust biased to begin with, my recommendations for a blower cam come out looking like straight pattern cams.
So, if a stock 5.3 cam (190/191-114) can produce 100rwhp off of a 100 jet, what is really going to stop you from achieving the same results despite your 'reverse split' camshaft? The answer is nothing.

For off an on N2O usage, cam for all-motor and let the N2O/FUEL jets decide the power levels. If you want more power, put some bigger jets in. Opening up the exhaust can also help if you are restricted on this side of things.
