Nitrous on 5.3

Nitrous on 5.3
After spending 3 months trying to make power on a powerdyne I am calling it quits. I started with 220 HP on my 5.3 and with the powerdyne, injectors, and tune I only got 305. I am thinking of going to nitrous but I want some opinions first. How much power can I make with nitrous safely. I already have 44lb injectors and can retune anytime. Also, what kit do you guys recommend. Can I run 13s on nitrous with a 5.3?

i won't recommend a kit since i built my own. but you should be able to get into the 13's easy with nitrous. traction provided, and weather you are going to spray out of the hole. i would start with a 100 shot then if you feel the need go up to a 125. 150 is about where i would stop spraying on stock fuel pump and rods and such.

If I could stop blowing up my engines with my blower I'd install the kit sitting in my gagrage. LOL

Nitrous is an oxidizer. It will do unwanted things to your aluminum Radix housing and the rotors inside. You're not gonna want to spray much because the super cooling effect of the N2O on the boosted air is gonna be a kick in the *** just as much as the nitrous itself. I'm gonna try it one day. I have the kit in my garage. If I ever get it installed, that's another issue...time management required. I would start at a 35 shot and then move up in small increments from there. Say to 50 then 60 then 75. Until something breaks, and it will. Do a wet shot, dry is asking for trouble. Make sure your AFR is very good before any of this.
