Default Nitrous on nnbs 5.3

I have a nnbs 5.3, 243 heads, 216/220 .560 .560 lift 114lsa cam with .580 springs, hardend pushrods,

I thought about buying the harris speed works wet kit for the lsx platform motors. How much of a shot would i be able to run SAFLEY on a wet system with the mods and stock bottom end that i have?...Im am also gonna buy a stall and gear in the real near future.

You will get a whole bunch of differnt replies on this so heres mine. I would run a 150 shot all day on that setup. One thing I didnt see in your mod list is a fuel pump. I put fuel pumps in every car or truck I start modding, they are cheap and gives you a little piece of mind when your spraying.

150 shot is what i have been told, I was thinking around 100 would do me good for what i wanna do. Im getting ready to have it tuned for the cam and headers i installed so i was gonna throw a nitrous kit on there. Prolly by summer i am going to have a procharger or sts or something when they come out for these model trucks.

I am trying to build kinna like a sleeper truck. something to get them hemi and ford guys attention...lol

I figured it would make more sense to go ahead and have the nitrous installed before i got it tuned, Instead of taking it back to the tuner a week or two later,

What kinna fuel pump do u reccommend, Is it an intake pump or something external from the tank?...

I'm going through the same thing!! I just bought a Walbro 255 pump, and 60# mototron injectors....but I'm running a dry kit. Wet ,you should be ok with just the pump. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!!

as far as the cam, i Am still in the process of the swap. I had to order an ls2 cam sprocket, should be in tomorrow or tuesday at the latest. another nnbs thing, stock cam has the 1 big bolt instead of the origional style 3 bolt. when i get it done ill try to post a vid of it and tell ya what i think bout it. Alot of ppl have told me that its a good cam for a 5.3. So with a 100 wet shot i need to by a fuel pump or stocker?

you can tap off of the stock fuel sys and use it that way, but with a cam and spray . . . you'll need bigger injectors . . . and that means a fuel pump upgrade
