Default Nnbs stupid juice...

I'm wanting to add about a 150-175 shot to my 2011 4.3

I've run into some problems. First off wet or dry? I've heard dry is a no go past 75hp on a 4.3. Something about the injectors are a hold back. What window switch do I need for a tps signal? Is there a pre made kit for a 4.3? Also is it safe to mount my bottle in a toolbox? I want to keep it low key. It's either in place of the spAre or in the toolbox.

I've searched and everything points towards a wet system. For a 150 shot what mods will I need to make to my fuel system? I'm getting a black bear tune soon and want to get this done first so they can Retard my timing in tow/haul mode. Meaning when the tow/haul mode is on it will be a different tune. Any input?(besides search lol) not much on the drive by wire 4.3

Edit: if I want to add a second bottle, is there a selector valve I need? Also where are people hiding the purge so it's not visible when you purge?

How about if the purge is mounted on the inner fender and shoots towards the plastic fender liner? Or run to where is purges into the rear bumper?

I'm about to be really vague here, to avoid answering stuff you care nothing about. Please forgive me in advance.

Wet or Dry? NX Proton Plus kit. NX is a sponsor here, that kit is a wet kit, and you can do a 125/150 shot on that kit. Universal application, just put the shark nozzle into the intake tube. Done.

Window switch? You don't have to have a switch. You can simply have a button that you can hit at any rpm range, or if you choose to do a switch, that's cool too.

Toolbox? Not a problem. Throw it in the toolbox. Easy to get to when you need it. Don't mount a bottle where you've got to take apart the whole truck and break a leg, just to refill it.

Fuel system? I don't know much about the NNBS 4.3's. Your best bet would probably be to get a Walbro 255 and some injectors, because I'm sure you'd be maxing out the stock injectors.

Timing? You don't need to pull much timing, just make sure you consult with Blackbear on that one, since you're dealing with a 4.3. NGK BR7EF's, and if you want to, a WB to keep your A/F in check.

Bottle heater? Get a torch from Lowe's.

Purge? Technically, you don't have to purge the line at all--may not be the smartest move, but just throwing that out there. Under the lip of the hood, the antenna, or fast and furious locations should all work. Just all comes to wherever works out for you. Purging is a simple concept.

If I missed anything, just ask. Nitrous isn't really a difficult thing to understand.

heating the bottle with a torch scares the hell outta me. when you do that, you are heat stressing a single point on the bottle. it expands and contracts much faster than the rest of the bottle. ive never seen one fail from this, but i sure dont want to take the chance. a bottle heater isnt very expensive, and easy to use. they heat a large area of the bottle evenly. this is just my .02

That's why you light the torch and move your arm in an up/down motion, to heat the bottle evenly.

You're right about a bottle heater being a much safer alternative, though. I've just always used a torch, and so have a lot of the guys I've been around.

Im pretty sure that you can't change "tunes" with just the tow/haul button tho, if im not mistaken, the only thing you can do is change the trans settings. Just something to think about. Other than that, everything the guys said above will get you going quick
