I keep mine in my bed, with tonneau.. So far on the latest 92 degree day my half full bottle reached a pressure of 1300PSI.. I tested it for this very reason.. I am tryign to decide if I need a blowdown tube. The tech sation guys dident say anything about it last time, but I am sure that I could benefit from it!

Go with the tube, and still get a bottle heater, so that you can actually control the PSI actively.

I already have bottle heater. The guy I bought the kit from gave it to me for free. The only problem is that I don't have a guage on my bottle, just a guage in lbs of nitrous. I guess I need to buy a blowdown tube and pressure guage.

I had my black bottle in my black toolbox. Summer pressure would get somewhere around 900-1000 tops. so it never got to bad.

Mine got as hot as 1400psi in the bed of my truck, under the tonneau, parked in the sun on an asphalt lot. I never saw it get any higher than that and I checked it about every other day throughout the summer. I ran mine on a wot switch with a push button for the same reason, I didn't want to spray through shifts.

I have a NOS brand bottle pressure gauge if you're interested. It's brand new, still in the package.

sorry guys but no pics yet. The nitrous kit may be for sale as I'm toying with the idea of doing a Turbo setup on my truck. I can basically get a all the hot parts for about $500 and oil/interncooler wastegate/turbo for around $1000 so I figure I can do a full turbo setup on my truck for around $2000.

I had mine in the cab of my old truck for 2 years with no issues. Bottle would reach around 1300-1400 psi at the max, and thats in 110+ heat.
