Spraying through shifts?

IMO, a 4l60e is only going to take so much, regardless of spraying through the shifts or not. I just don't like the idea of shocking the tranny right before and after it shifts. Your stock tranny will be on borrowed time, just as it would be if you did a cam/heads/etc N/A setup. They would both make about the same power and you can't cut N/A power off right before a shift.

Almost every 4L60E is on borrowed time, expecially with nitrous. It will go on nitrous not spraying through the shifts, but chances are it will go faster if you spray through the shifts. I guess a window switch helps with risk management. It isn't go to save your tranny but it could prolong it for awhile...

That is all in personal opinon. ANYone spraying a built 60e IMO is most likely spraying thro the shifts. I only bought a window switch to save the life of the tranny and not spray thro the shifts. But the most of hte time the parts that go arnt shift related nessiarily.

Here is my window switch. Right before it shifts, I let go of the switch. It also helped with traction in that I didn't hit it until I knew the truck was hooked. I only ran a 100 dry shot, but like the idea of being able to control the hit.
