Default TPS wire help

Alright guys I know this question has been asked time and time again, but which wire do I tap for Tps signal for the 5v activation, i've heard Green, purple, and gray i've tried to check with my multimeter but i cant verify which one it is, if I tap the purple wire it goes into Rep mode, everything else is hooked up, window switch is hooked to the green with white stripe coil connector set in 1 cyl mode and seems to be working and reading rpm anything yall can think of

Mine is hooked up the exact same way with a MSD 8969 window switch and the Zex TPS switch. I attached it to the pink/ purple wire and have no issues with it. Did you use a t tap? I would not suggest attaching it like that and I have no REP issues what so ever. I would go back about 6" away from your plug, strip back the insulation exposing about an inch of wire, wrap the tps activation wire around that and solder it and heat shrink it. You should have no problems.

To program it. You have to turn the key to accesory. Press the reset button it should start flashing red. Hold the gas pedal down for 10 seconds it will start blinking red and green. At this point when it does that turn the arming switch of and key to off. Turn the ignition back on and arm the activation switch it should be a constant green led and it has learned the tps voltage signal.
