Default TR55's with spray??

My tuner has told me he can tune my truck so it runs on TR55's so I get the best out of the motor tune and the bottle... I have been running TR6's for the past 17 or so months (since I went with nitrous) and have had absolutely no problems with the motor whatsoever. This past weekend I pulled the plugs and put in a fresh set but the ones I took out still looked good so I'm going to hang on to them for a back up in case I foul one or something... they are gapped at .036.

has anyone done this with TR55's? I dont want to burn a piston up in this thing... I have had way too good luck out of this motor so far with 110K miles on it and probably 15 bottles of nitrous through it on a 150 single stage wet hit... I'm kind of confused.... Looking for advice.

Not an expert by any means, but I thought there may only be a few hp difference in the two. If it has run fine for a year and a half, I would leave it be.

I know the TR6's are colder than stock, and the TR55's are slightly hotter... with the cylinder pressures going up because of the nitrous I dont want to introduce even more heat into the combustion chambers by using a hotter burning plug.... and ultimately burning up a hole or two...

he'd just suggested it to me since I have a misfire issue at low RPM and idle we cant seem to locate... maybe fuel loading up or something so he wanted to try to go to a hotter plug... I am beginning to think its a coil pack going bad on me

i have run both on spray and have done fine with both, the local perfomance shop runs out of TR-6's fast so i will just go ahead and get the 55's, your tuner should know what he is talking about, as a matter of fact i hit my 6.0 with a 200 shot and the 55's and the only thing that blew was the cheap a** Fuddle converter

I went to TR6's when I made the jump from the 100 shot to the 150 shot. I sprayed MANY bottles with the 100 shot and the TR55s with no problems

well I'm running the 150 too so I'll just stick to the 6's...Like I said, I've been way too fortunate with this motor to play with fire now...
