will a forged bottom end in a 408 with arp hardware be able to handle up to a 300 shot most likly would only be 200-250 butthe kit will go to 300 so i'll probly try it once or twice.

Should handle it but you run a chance of flattening out the main bearings and even with good rings you still stand the chance of burning them up. Believe me I have already looked into it. I will be spraying a 200 shot on mine with a 50 dry for the second stage in case I want just a little extra. BTW you better be running a progressive controller on that system or you can say bye bye to everything in your drivetrain and I sure hope you aren’t expecting that 60e to last with those big tires and that motor. Seriously though man I would be surprised if the tranny lasted one WOT run with the nitrous. Im crossing my fingers and hoping that mine will stay together and I have a fully built 60e and 32” tires. You definitely need an 80e for that setup. I would spray a 300 shot on it my kit that I will be getting will handle 300hp but I doubt I will spray it cause I need this engine to hold together. You better have head studs not the stock crap and some cometic gaskets on it or something but that’s just my opinion and the research that I have done have led me to believe and that is what I am going to be doing on my setup that is basically like you are talking about.

go for it all i say is keep the fuel too it and it will very likely handle it with a built bottom end and some good pistons and you might want to keep your a/f ratio in the upper levels i am spraying a 175 or a little over on the stock everything . all i have is a inline speed inc 255 lph fuel pump and keep my fuel pressure around 63-65 lbs never had any knock or any problems takes it like a champ.

It will have have a progressive controled direct port setup on it. have main and head stud cosmetic gaskets. dimond pistons. the only thing that worries me is the crank and rods. and it will have an 80e in it i now theres no way in hell the 60 would take it with the big tire just na. and like i said it has a 300 shot capability to it will i spray that all the time no be more like 200 and that would only be at the track on the street maybe have it jetted to 150 or so.

Trust me you will get that urge and you will keep atleast the 200 shot pills in there. The gaskets are called cometic. They are badass I will be going with them. I tosunds like you have your **** together so it should run pretty good man. Ill have the same setup as you and I plan on spraying a 200 shot most of the time and maybe a 250 every once in a while but not a 300 on the built 60e after tax return time Ill have a fully built 80e in it and then Ill spray a 250 shot all the time and maybe the 300 shot every once in a while.

I have an 80e i brutalize.. and i mean brutalize and it takes it and wants more
8.1 496 big block tuned and lightly worked about 390hp 490 torque, then comes the juice spraying a good 250 on it, so do the math not a problem at all yet on it..have you seen our direct port nozzle system? very cool no drilling or tapping they fit right into the fuel injector ports and the injectors fit right into the nozzles. clean, trick and can support up to 400hp

then you should have no problem spraying that little of a shot just keep tabs on the a/f keep it real rich and keep your fuel pressure on the rails around 68 for that big of a shot lol these things need no girdles they have 6 bolt mains they are made to run 6600 rpm all day everyday in boat applications. they love nitrous i promise the more the merry is how i look at it you will have a very big grin on your face wehn you get the second stage kicked in. i would go with a 175 out the whole cause that is going to be a hell of a launch trust me on that one to i do it every weekend. and the next 175 shot about the 60 foot and you should be very happy and safe.
