Looking awesome.

I hope it pays for it's self. A quick rear axle swap should make the drive train bullet proof. I wouldn't rush off and do it, but I would make plans for it down the road.

this is an awesome build thread. just forwarded the link over to my buddy who's doing a 12 valve p pump swap in his 02 tahoe.

and x2 on the rear drivetrain swap. you can either do an h2 which will bolt in minus the spring perches, but you will have to convert to 8 lug. or find someone and pay them lots of money for 6 lug axle shafts. or run adapter plates that will kick out the tires even more. but you will have a locking diff which is handy. or get lucky and find a 6 lug 14 bolt from a nnbs escalade or denali. or of course get a regular 14 bolt 6 lug from any other of the applications and weld on all the tabs the hoes need.

Lol... Eventually it will get an h2 rear.... no hurry though. If I take care while pulling... it should hold up for a good while... I dont intend on driving this thing all that hard... but who knows...

I need to find one with 373s to match the front so I don't have to regear.

What kind of power to those 4BT's put out? What are you running for an ECM?

I'm not sure if this is oh so wrong, or oh so right. But it's very cool. Nice job.

As far as the ecm goes... I'm still running the tahoes ecu... the 4bt is all mechanical... 3 wires and fuel to run

They don't put out much at stock levels, but neither do it's big brother, the 5.9L Cummins.

I believe they put out 150HP/300TQ or so at stock levels. They can very quickly be pushed to a realistic 250HP/500TQ with some mods to the fuel plate and a junkyard turbo upgrade.

Even just the fuel plate mod can make a huge difference with stock turbo. It's just nicer with a larger turbo for all parts of the engine.
