Default 04 Denali 408 classy daily/tow rig build

This 04 Denali manual swap and 408 build was originally built by 2002 z28 six speed, you can see his build thread here on whats been done https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...thread-548272/ I picked up the Denali in june. This is to document on the continuation of making this suv the ultimate luxury, fast moving, daily driver friendly, land yacht.

The Denali on the out side is beginning to show its age so its time to freshen things up a bit... I Removed the side runners and added a fresh coat of paint to the plastic trim

Trim removed and cleaned, cake work to remove like 6 10mm bolts

gonna try this paint out, hopefully it can hold up peoples feet rubbing on it all the time

not bad came out pretty good!!

I used something similar on my NNBS intake cover.

I washed it with Dawn dish washing detergent first, air dried it good and laid down a couple of coats.

That was last year. I’ve had it off numerous times and it hasn’t chipped or scratched one bit.

That's good to hear, i will have to wait and see. I'm planning to redo the trim on the rear bumper as well.

welcome to PT!
so YOU're the one who bought it right as i got my wife convinced she needed a stick-shift Denali... but it's okay, we ended up finding a 5speed '09 H3 (that i now gotta v8 swap).

if you get tired of the orange reflectors in the headlights, don't let the interwebz rumors deter you - you CAN open & clear stock Denali housings... just don't schedule anything else that day.

Thanks _zebra

The future upgrades will be a cowl hood, paint matched grill but leaving the center hole section chrome. Escalade gauge cluster swap and some b&I dark factory wood trim for the interior I have ordered

Cool

Some nice face lift upgrades include a Chevy Suburban lip and stock Denali fog lights.

Suburban lip mounts easily and fits flush.

Yellow led's for that classic off road feel.

That suburban lip came out super clean. What year was it off of?
