Intercooler is 1300.00 plus freight. This core is 18 x 21 x 3 not your standard size and comes with brackets for everthing that needs a bracket.
Cold pipes not sure I will be keeping data on this one. We are planning on doing something new in future just not ready to release it yet.
I like the turbo on the passenger side for reasons mentioned plus the air box is already there so to me looks like it belongs there.
IC came in
still waiting on the turbo.
Heres a few updated pics. The IC goes all the way to the top of the lower air dam. So if you hit the IC you really messed up your bumper as well. This thing is solid and mounting was just too easy. But I would hope it would be seay with all the designing and prototype building we did prior to ordering this IC.
You can see in this pic how much lower the IC then the top of the bumper.
Don't slip, a/c lines would not like it.
used a flame to clean up the edges from the hole saw.
getting the frame ready for paint. Notice the line on the hand there. OUCH NOTE to SELF:LOL donot have the trigger pulled while pluging in the air line.
Has to look factory once done, and did not want the Aframe here to start rusting.

Rick looks great, I would expect no less. Who built the IC? I know you mentioned you built the tabs to support the front grill, but the core?
what kind of boost is he wanting to run?

Thanks guys this should be one clean set up once done. We use Bell Intercoolers for all of our custom pieces. Boost not sure yet I would except them to be in the 12psi range. Then if a 6.0 gets dropped in easy I would hope 15+.
The intercooler is a very very nice piece. Those guys matched the mock up, protototype perfectly. Hope to have more pics up so. Still working on the 2nd hold down bracket.

I really did not have any plans to save the file/data on this complete installed IC. Maybe I should if people want this same IC set up for their trucks. The actual IC we have a mock up part here so duplicating that no problems. I would just need to draw out the mount brackets and keep them. So hmmm sure guess I will. LOL
Not sure the Chevy trucks have the same type of clip arrangement as the GMC.
