Nothing but meth right now might be getting the lt4 injectors and stuff and cam will see. Having an issue with boost creep posted in the forced induction section if you have any ideas

 

Well she has alittle knock and oil had a bunch of copper in it so she's coming out next week.

 

So spun number 7 rod bearing killed the thrust and the 4th main. So it's getting built new crank rods and pistons shooting for 1k plus

 

How'd that happen?

 

damn man. what level of power were you at when you hurt the motor? Also have you dynoed or ran it at the track? Its been a while since this thread has been up

 

No just been working with mike at new Era for tuning we where at 10 lbs of boost and we didn't have any more fuel really left for more boost. No track times still been doing stuff for sema on it like just little touchs. Now everything will have a chance to go to the powder coat place. Honestly was on the freeway made a pull in 3rd shifted to 4th then got out of it truck was like stuck in 4th for a few seconds then shifted into 5th and 6th cruised for a few more miles as soon as I was getting off the freeway it made a metal to metal sound so I killed it coasted off the freeway and took it to the shop and drained the oil

 

denotation will hammer rod bearings, stock fuel system probably wasnt happy and ran lean

 

Could of been I was logging it all when it happened and sent it to Mike at new Era said everything was fine making the pass it wasn't till afyer that it went crazy on the knock sensor

 

Should be done very soon custom pistons from cp took about 16 days so it's been at a stand still

 

Dropped the motor back in today. Hopefully to the dyno early next week
